Diamonds take a lot of pressure. Someday we will all be gems. The current pressures have kept me thinking about how people survive and survive well in difficult and even impossible circumstances, like Daniel in the lion’s den, Miriam Ibarim, Pastor Saeed, the Christians in Islamic countries, the poor in 3rd world countries…stopping now…you get the picture. More than grateful heart tonight.
If it were not for Jesus and His sacrifice, our survival in untoward circumstances would not be possible. His resurrection and ascension afforded us the presence of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. How did we live before His promised gift? The Comforter has come!

We need reminding in times of stress, pressure, and difficult circumstances that God in His Word has given us all we need to know and understand to be victorious in every situation that we face each day. We may not feel victorious, but our spirit witnesses with God’s Spirit that He is in control. Prior to this following verse, (one of my most encouraging favorites) Jeremiah recounts God’s great love, faithfulness, provision and justice. He has lived to see God make history worth recounting. God is doing the same for us as followers of Jesus Christ today. Our trust is in Him, ‘listening’, ‘obeying’ and worshiping in spirit and truth. Share the good things that God is doing. If you stare at your circumstances in silence, you will see Him at work! Believe his Word….nothing is beyond Him.
Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?
