Most of us immediately think of getting our car or truck cleaned up when we see the word ‘detailing’. Me, I think about editing. Spent a couple hours this morning editing and detailing, ‘cleaning up’ the manuscript for “Listening in Our Circumstances”.
This book is not like the first two at all. The devotional is a time/daily event, with encouragement for the day in prose and poetry; the second “Listening Still-Learning to Hear His Voice” is a teaching event, a ‘How-To’. This new book is by far the most direct approach to ‘listening’ and how it affects/influences our daily lives. The effect/result is in the examples of real life ‘circumstances’. We all have them, some good, some not so good and some downright awful and devastating.
God is still in charge. Committing our lives wholly to Him, allows rescue, comfort and knowledge of His great love. The plan may never be clear to us, but in Him all things exist and consist and we are His, yesterday, today and for eternity. Bless His holy name!
